Highlight of DragonCon (or my life???)
So this past weekend was my first DRAGON CON, and I have no words to describe this convention except CRAZY. hahaha. in a GOOD way of course. I am still exhausted from it and it is probably going to take at least a week to recover from the amount of fun I had. From meeting a bunch of fans, to walking around the hotel lobby taking pictures with and of beautiful, amazing costumes, to singing and dancing the night away, and being the biggest fangirl myself, I can definitely say I had the whole Dragoncon experience. Thank you to every single person who made all these things happen! I love The Guild Fans!!!! Here are some pictures from the weekend :)

Here is a picture of me and Rick Fox! If you follow me on twitter, or any of my friends on twitter, you will see that this meeting has been a LONG TIME COMING haha. If you don’t know the story, one day Felicia told me that she knows Rick and just saw him the other day (she saw him somewhere that I should have been at, and I wasnt), being the BIGGEST basketball fan ever, I bursted into tears knowing that I missed my one and only chance to meet him. Well, then San Diego Comiccon came around and I found out that he was going to be there, I was so stoked to finally be able to meet him, but EVERY SINGLE Guild person ran into him multiple times, EXCEPT ME. Sean Becker the director probably sent me at least 5 pictures from that weekend with him. Even Wil Wheaton got in on the joke and sent me a picture of the two of them at the con. SO basically i left San Diego coming to terms with the fact that I will never meet him. Maybe it was a good thing, he could be a really big dusche bag (even though EVERYONE told me how cool he was…..eep)..anyway, So i walk into the Walk of Fame where everyone signs autographs at Dragoncon and OMG OMGOMGOMG I SEE HIM AND ELIZA DUSKU’S TABLE NEXT TO OURS!!!!!! I almost freaked out again but I told myself I HAD to calm down because I was definitely gonna meet him. Well, it DID happen, him and Eliza walked in after her buffy panel and I walked over to them and he saw me and said “is that amy??” (he totally knew about the joke cause everyone told him i guess!) when i saw that HE knew who I was, i totally lost it! tears were pouring down, and i was trying to laugh it off, but it was definitely not helping- but him and eliza were so cool and thought it was really funny and if they thought i was a crazy person they definitely didnt show it! haha. i finally got MY picture with him, but i was completely mortified lolol. So monday i tried to redeem myself and went over to his table , and asked for an autograph for a full convention fangirl experience. He was extremely generous and told me to put my wallet away, and gave me an signed photo for free! this is the first time ive ever asked for an autograph, and you better believe this is going in a frame ASAP. I finally got to have an actual conversation with him without crying, and found out he is a WOW fan!!! which is so cool and unexpected! they are both probably the coolest people on this earth, and definitely made my dragoncon the best convention ever! there ARE things i wanted to tell him that i didnt- like how i started watching him when i was so young that sometimes i couldnt even stay up to watch the whole game, or how my friends’ parents would sneak in portable TVs to basketball practice so we would never miss a game, how I collected every single Laker player’s basketball cards (i wish i would have brought them so he can sign em), and how 2000, 2001, and 2002 were the BEST years of my life, and how HIS laker era was and will always be my favorite and although im still a laker fan and always will be, its never quite the same— but i knew if i started saying things like THAT, i would start crying again…so i kept my cool :). thanks to Rick and Eliza for being amazing and not scary…it was probably the most exciting thing that ever happened to me at a convention on the fan side of things :)
OH AND HE ALSO TWEETED AT ME….MORE THAN ONCE! look at my favorites if you wanna see em :) THEY ARE EPIC
anyway there are so many other things that happened this weekend but that will need a whole new post with a lot of pictures!
